These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform, including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Overview Unity Basketball connects basketball trainers (“Trainers”) with players and/or parents of players (“Players”) seeking basketball training services. We facilitate the booking and payment process but do not directly provide training services.

2. Eligibility To use the Platform: You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian if you are under 18. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration. Trainers must meet all qualifications required by applicable laws and provide accurate information about their credentials.

3. Account Registration Users (Trainers and Players) must create an account to access Platform features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Services Provided by the Platform Unity Basketball facilitates the following: Trainer profiles: Trainers can showcase their skills, availability, and rates. Player search: Players can browse and book Trainers based on location, expertise, and reviews. Payments: Secure payment processing for booked sessions. We are not responsible for the actual training services provided by Trainers or for interactions between Trainers and Players.

5. Payments and Fees Trainers set their own rates for sessions. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Players are charged at the time of booking, and Trainers receive payouts after the session is completed. The Platform may charge a service fee, which will be disclosed upfront.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy Players may cancel sessions up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session may result in a partial or no refund, as determined by the Trainer’s policy. Trainers who cancel sessions are expected to provide prompt notice, and Players will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule.

7. Trainer Responsibilities Trainers agree to: Provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and availability. Offer services in a professional, ethical, and lawful manner. Honor all confirmed bookings and communicate promptly with Players. Maintain appropriate insurance and comply with any licensing requirements, where applicable.

8. Player Responsibilities Players agree to: Provide accurate information during booking. Arrive on time for scheduled sessions. Treat Trainers with respect and follow their instructions during sessions. Ensure a safe and appropriate training environment, if applicable (e.g., private sessions at home).

9. Reviews and Feedback Players may leave reviews and ratings for Trainers after sessions. By submitting a review, you grant Unity Basketball the right to display it publicly. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and not include offensive language or false claims.

10. Prohibited Conduct You may not: Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes. Post false, misleading, or harmful information. Harass, intimidate, or harm other users. Engage in activities that interfere with the operation of the Platform. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

11. Limitation of Liability Unity Basketball is not responsible for: The actions, conduct, or performance of Trainers or Players. Any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during training sessions. Technical issues, interruptions, or errors with the Platform. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us for using the Platform in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Intellectual Property All content, trademarks, and logos on the Platform are owned by Unity Basketball or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any content without permission.

13. Privacy Policy Your use of the Platform is also governed by our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

14. Termination We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account by contacting us at support@teamunitybasketball.com.

15. Dispute Resolution Any disputes between Trainers and Players should be resolved directly. Unity Basketball may mediate disputes but is not obligated to do so. For disputes with Unity Basketball, you agree to resolve them through binding arbitration or small claims court, as applicable.

16. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
